Tuesday morning, as I was taking my dog out for a walk, my next door neighbor's pit bull got loose and attached my dog. Very bad! Super bad! The experience, I don't wish to my worse enemy, it was horrible. I thought she was dead. Please people, don't own pit bulls, I don't care if you THINK they are sweet, if it's never bitten anyone before, it is in their nature, I don't care what anyone says. This dog tried to kill my dog, and with no reason, he came out of nowhere, picked her up by the neck and almost destroyed her. Mind you, my dog is no little dog, she's 50 lbs, and is a Chinese Shar Pei, but she didn't even try to fight back. And me, well, I felt distroyed, tried to get the fu#$ dog off of her and his owner tried to and finally he let go of her. Luckily, my dog is alive, she had to have surgery and got many, many stitches, but she's going to be okay, I hope. The dog next door, was put to sleep. Not by my request, the owner decided it was the best thing. They have a baby at home and I have a son and it could of been worse. They are very sorry this happened and paid for the hospital bills, they recognize it was their fault, not their dog. Unfortunately, the dog is dead now.
Here's a picture of my baby, once she came home:
The pictures don't really show the gravity of the bites in the neck, but you have an idea.
This is just her being lovely:

i'm so sorry that happened. i'm with you completely on pit bulls. my friend has them and thinks they are harmless. whatever. a few months ago, a 7 year old boy was torn to pieces and killed by 2 of his neighbors pits. so sad. thank god adrian wasn't with you.
I know, I think people don't realize that it's in their nature and it's usually like: "I didn't know he was capable... or he had never been aggressive before". I do thank God that it wasn't Adrian!!
