A conversation with my little one...

So, Adrian and I were talking... He wanted to know if I was sick when I was born too - since he was so sick. I told him that I was born healthy and that yes, he was very sick when he was born. He then continued telling me that he is thankful that God gave him the opportunity to live and that now he's a healthy boy. It almost brought tears to my eyes to hear him say that. How cute! I told him that he has to make the best out of his life, he said - I will, because I fought so hard to be here! He wanted to see the pictures of him when he was born, and as I showed him, with tubes all over his little body, he said that although he can't remember the pain, he feels it and that he is lucky that I was there next to him. I'm lucky to have him!
